BUSINESS GOALS & OPERATIONS

The VOG will hire and employ Military Veteran truck operators for freight hauling and acquire trucks through low asset purchase.

Operators have the opportunity to rotate between trucks to ensure their needs are met and the trucks are always moving freight within DOT guidelines. 

The VOG intends to work with the surrounding communities for additional fundraising activities to support families with financial support related to personal expenses other living needs.

Sponsorship through local businesses may entitled to brand and name recognition on the side of the Semis.

The revenue from the trucks is intended solely for the purchase of homes and support the Military Veterans which reside in purchased homes.

Any additional revenue received will be placed in a general fund to support potential equipment expenses and or other projects.

Region: Washington & Oregon

Funds from trucks based in Oregon solely go to Oregon Veterans. 

Funds from trucks based in Washington solely go to Washington Veterans.

GUIDELINES / SUPPORT AND STRUCTURE

All properties, assets, and capital equipment purchased (such as semi trucks, trailers & tarps) will be solely owned by the non-profit, not by the director and/or board members.

Veterans and their families are still responsible for paying household bills, food and all other personal expenses. 

The web site will be used for information and will be a positive tool along with other resources currently supporting our Vets.

VOG delivers free cut and split firewood to Veterans Families in Western Washington from Burien to Graham to Everett.

VOG is active in the community, speaking with businesses and private parties.

Since 2014, using only VOG resources through downed trees donations, we have processed and delivered over 100 cords free cut and split firewood to Veteran families.
